Bone Densitometry
Bone Densitometry is used to find out if patients are normal, osteopaenic or osteoporotic. In some cases it will not be claimable with Medicare and you will be asked if you can pay for the examination before we will proceed. The femurs and spine are assessed, with the diagnosis made using the lowest T-score.
